Barry Smith graduated in 1980, subsequently becoming a Chartered Civil Engineer in 1987. During the early part of his career he worked for Contractors, followed by a period as a Local Authority Structural Engineer.
In 1988 he formed a partnership of Rodney Woods, Bailey and Smith with two Structural Engineers.
Later in 1998 he formed his own practice, BCS Consulting. His experience covers
